1. Who is responsible
This board is run by an independent individual based in Pakistan. There is no team with access to your data, and nothing collected here is sold, shared, or handed to an advertising network.
2. What a bid stores
Placing a bid records only what is needed to put a listing on the board and keep it there:
- The address you submitted, with any query string removed.
- The amount you bid and the time you bid it.
- A name, description, and icon read from the public page at that address.
- A count of how many times the listing has been clicked.
- The email address you gave at checkout, used to send one confirmation and nothing else.
Every one of those except the email address is shown publicly on the board. That is the point of the board. Do not submit an address you would rather nobody saw.
3. Payment details we never receive
Payments run through Creem, who act as merchant of record. Your card number, billing address, and any tax identifiers go to Creem and their processors. They never reach this site and are never stored here. What comes back to us is a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the reference for the bid it belongs to and the email address to send the receipt to.
4. Visits to this site
A session cookie keeps the bid form working and protects it against cross-site submissions. It carries no advertising identifier and follows you nowhere.
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which is how we count visits and see how many people who arrive go on to place a bid. Tags loaded through it may set their own cookies and receive your IP address, the page you are on, and the page you came from. We do not pass your email address or your bid to it, and nothing collected there is sold. Blocking third-party scripts stops all of it, and nothing on the board depends on it.
When you click a listing you are sent to that listing's address with utm_source=rankboard attached, so the listing owner can see the visit came from here. Where that visit goes next is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
5. Icons
Listing icons are fetched once by this server and served from this domain. The site whose icon is shown never sees your browser, your address, or your visit.
6. How long it is kept, and getting it removed
A listing stays until it is removed. If you want yours taken down, write to us from an address at the domain in question, or from the X account in question, and we will remove it. A removal does not return the bid, for the reasons set out in the terms.
Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, and that copy sits with Creem rather than here.
